J-Frame Grip Help Please

Local store has a square butt Model 37 with grips like I've never seen.

They look like black plastic with a "wing" or extended portion to hook over your pocket or waist band built on them.

Any idea what they are? Anybody seen something like these? Do they have any value? No way of course to post a picture, hope my description is good enough.

Mike, should have asked me. They are usually available for around $15 -$30. Going to decide to buy it? I'd rate the finish 99%.

I decided to buy it the first day but I still can't get him to put a price on it. Last evening he was concerned about getting a aftermarket grip because he doesn't like what's on it now. My reply was to put a price on it and don't worry about the grips. I've got a set of stocks on the way from a member here already and don't even have the gun bought yet!

That's what he told me last week that he hadn't priced it yet. Asked me if I had any J grips laying around. I do have some Uncle Mikes and a Pachmayer, but no decent wood ones.

My offer on your old 36 still stands.

I have a 3" model 36 that has the factory diamond grips on it. I recently got a Tyler "T" grip from a member here and believe that the combination makes for a perfect fit.
