No, I haven't used one of those but I don't like waistband carry of an unholstered gun. It tends to chafe the hide and I sweat all over the gun and if there is an exposed hammer it digs into the flesh. Of course, I am well fed and someone with less girth may find it more satisfactory...

They're cheaper on Ebay.
I've had them on four J frames, still have them on two - my 3" 36-1 and on a 2" 638. I've also had them on a 2" 649 and a 442. On light 2" guns, they tend to move around too much for my taste for IWB carry. However they work great for carrying a snubby stashed in the straps on your armor carrier.
With the heavier steel guns, they work a bit better for IWB carry. Still, it's best to have a belt on.
I'm a bit on the skinny side.
Anyway, should be under 20 bucks shipped if you shop around on Ebay. That's where I get mine.

I tried one and didn't like it....I like a little leather between me and the gun...I also like a holster for protection of the gun when I take it off...and for some strange reason, I feel safer with the gun in a holster...

I've used a ClipDraw on an all steel J-Frame (appendix carry) for about five years and don't see a reason to carry a J any other way. It's plenty secure and hides the gun very very well. I've tried it on a K frame as well and it's not as comfy but I'm fairly small and a larger person might find it's fine.
