Caution: If you are powderless, this may annoy you, but that's not my intent. Went to my local range to do some shooting with my 17-5 and 18-3...ended up making the opportunistic purchase of the year: 5lbs of Unobtainium, and 8lbs of Unicorn!!!

Edit: This was found in southern Fairfield County, CT. First I've seen of these powders in at least two years.

Jackpot for sure. One guy that has a small reloading supply store does get some in once in a while but it is gone before you know it. I did see some WW296 at the gun show last weekend but I got plenty of that powder.

Yea, it annoys me! Those are the very two powders I'm looking for.

Texas is dry when it comes to pistol powder.

Bought a 4# 231 last year and found 4 individual pounds of Unique this week. Should be here by Monday.

Two of the best powders IMO.

Me and a buddy drove 6 hours round trip so we could both buy 8 lbs. of Bullseye and 2,000 primers (primers were a bonus). You still can't find pistol powder around our area, but I don't even look anymore-I now have 20 lbs. of assorted powders to use, primers & bullets are available locally or on-line and I have even been able to buy some 22 ammo lately! Maybe things are starting to come around?

Basspro was setting out Bullseye and Reloader 15 the other day. I was wishing for Varget and Unique. Hopefully things will trend better.

Eventually a body figures out that you reload with powder that is available not the powder you want. Can't find the correct powder for your caliber, buy a different caliber -- it's just reloader addiction training.

No one ever buys their last gun, just check with the Caj.

My LGS had a bunch of BUllseye, Unique, and Power Pistol in last week. I've got a good supply, but picked up a couple of pounds just to keep pace.

Seems like things are easing up a bit on getting these powders...

Nice scores there SLT. I lucked out with a lb of both Unique and Bullseye at the local BassPro Shop. Been ages since they had either. Nice to see powder hitting the shelves. :D

Even before all this, I never could find anyplace in Central Indiana that sold reloading supplies. I was told to try in Terre Haute.
