Jammed casing in chamber

It has to be a joke?

I mean... for real??

Since there is a NATO symbol on the head it is hard to believe the cartridge deep in the chamber is anything but a NATO standard 9mm Parabellum (9x19, etc!). Shouldn't work, but perhaps someone ran a 9mm through a .38/.357 Carbide Factory Crimp die! Simply knock it out from the front of the cylinder! Why is this supposed to be such a problem?

BINGO "What is a 9mm Parabellum Alex". This is the correct answer. I too noticed that NATO mark and Alk8944 beat me to it.

No problem with the gun -- the problem is the moron that put a 9mm round in there. A dowel placed against the front of the offending cartridge and given a light tap with a hammer will pop it right out.

The point has been raised that you can't ship it that way (or you sure shouldn't). So if you tell the owner how to correct the problem so he can ship it, don't you lose any bargaining leverage? :o

Personally, it looks like this one has been in the care of a bozo. Who knows what else he has done to it?

I see used Rugers all the time in gun shops. Is this one such a great deal that it is worth all the "maybes and ifs"?

Since it is unfired, just push the ejector rod to the rear and tap out the "odd" round. Once again review the NRA safety rules, "Use only ammo you know fits your gun".
