Does anyone know if the s&w 15-22 is a single stage or 2 stage trigger?

The regular 15-22s are a single stage trigger, same as an AR carbine. The Performance Center 15-22 has a 2 stage RRA trigger.

I don't have the Slidefire stock, but I do have a Jard 3# trigger and I have to say it's the best mod on my rifle. It is now breaking crisply at 2lbs 8ozs. Its performance has only improved with use.

It doesn't say that it comes with a plate but it does. The hammer spring kept the trigger pin in place but the hammer pin walked out when using the slide fire. I put that plate in there and problem solved.

Interesting. I have the same trigger and it neither came with a plate nor needs one. No mention of a plate is made in the documentation, either.

It doesn't need the plate unless you are going to run a slide fire stock on your gun. The high rate of fire makes the pin walk. I guess the plate is something newly added to the trigger kit.

Must be. I've had my trigger almost a year, now.

Mine came with the pin locking plate.

My 15-22 with slidefire will do 7 shot bursts and then stops. It Loaded a shell in chamber but acts like the firing pin was not cocked and the trigger does not fire the pin. Does anyone know if the adjustment on the trigger is off?

Mine does this too, and i still have yet to find a fix for it.

Maybe the way the gun is held? Going to experiment today. I also had some miss fires.

I plan on getting the M&P 15 22 and already have the slide fire. I see your link to the trigger which I plan on getting too. Could you point me to which springs I would need too and any other pins/plates. The internal components is somewhat new to me and want to make sure I got everything I need.

I called Jard. They told me I needed #1564 It's the 1.5 adj triggar with wt hammer. He told me it came with the plate and everything I need. I hope I got the right one.

That one say with wt hammer. Scandalous seems to have one that doesn't say wet hammer. Like I said, I don't know much. What's the difference?

I'm not sure what the wt stands for but it does not stand for wet.

I have the 1.5 lb. Spring in mine. The trigger that I posted a link to comes with everything you need to start dumping mags. I also sprayed some silicone lubricant on the buffer tube and inside my mags. It's not messy and it makes everything slide more freely.

You did. As long as it's the single stage. I got mine from Midway, the exact trigger that I posted a link to.
