Jerry Miculek Guinness World Record attempt

Jerry's great. But he does shoot "slower" in
some competitions not set up to demonstrate
how fast a DA revolver can be shot.

He has done more for the use of revolvers than anyone
else.

Next week after just a bit more practice, I
think I'll take him on. :D. Or not. :(

I've had the pleasure of meeting and talking to Jerry on several occasions, some before he and Kate were married, and when he brought Leena to a large match when she was less than a year old. Always a gentleman. I recall the day he was "discovered" by S&W. It was at the Masters International Shooting Championship. On the action event he strolled up to the target line and bested the time of most all of the other competitors shooting a revolver. I believe he was offered a contract before the day was out.

I've had dinner with Jerry a couple of times and shot with him the years he was going to the Bianchi Cup. It's not that I'm anyone special, it's a week long match and everyone knows everyone else there, simply by being together for a week.

Jerry's a good person, and will help anyone who asks. He's easy to talk to, and has a great sense of humor that makes it fun to be around him. In person, he's the same guy you see on the videos. Jerry commands respect because he has earned it many times over the years. He's the real deal. I hold him in the highest regard.

I have met Jerry a couple of times at the Bianchi Cup and can say that any money that Smith & Wesson has spent on Jerry has been the best value for advertising and promotion that they have spent. He sets the standard in the industry for being an ambassador for his sponsor and the sport.

Me and my Dad were at the Mossy Oak outlet in West Point, MS many years ago when he set some records. Jim Scouten was there with his show videoing. It was unreal how hot it was, even for Mississippi. Jerry never gave up and got it done!!

We got to meet Jerry and Roy that day. Both very fine gentleman!!

My wife and I met Jerry about 20 years ago when he put on a shooting demo at a firearms show in Norco CA. He stayed around after the event to talk/answer questions. A real gentleman and the perfect ambassador for S&W.

Just watched a live video of him setting the record as 2.1 sec for the 7 yard 6 plate rack from the holster, the previous record was 2.7 sec by Max Michel with a 9mm auto. A CZ I think
