Jewell AR15 Trigger in 15-22, Anyone?

Kornflake pointed out something I forgot in a PM he sent me. On the Chip McCormick drop in trigger, I needed to make a new set of pins in the shop to accomodate the wider receiver. The CMC trigger uses pins that are held outside the lower with c-clips.

That being said, unless you are handy in a machine shop to make new pins, the CMC isn't drop in. Sorry for the confusion.

Put an Armalite NM two stage in mine, was a take out from my service rifle, dropped right in, passed all function tests.

I have had two different DPMS trigger/sears and a timney single stage. The gun is incredibly accurate, surprising actually. It benefits from a good trigger no doubt. Right now it has the JP yellow 3.5lb with a DPMS LPK trigger hammer that I polished and planed. The trigger has return to zero, and it on it's way to having mirror like sear/trigger surfaces. Still a bit long of a pull, but it is very smooth.

I have to disagree that this rifle is not a tack driver. With the right optics and very good ammo it is better out of the box than most tuned and tweaked 22s. Any it FEELS so right to hold it. Everything you learned while carrying it's bigger cousin, translates effortlessly.

I put 450 through my late model 15-22 today. Not even a hint of a malf. I even deliberately tried to trip it up with magazine issues.

Love this rifle.
