Since you all don't live in NY, let me tell you something about Pirro. I once lived in the county where she was DA and judge. She was once a County Court judge, by NYS law the person responsible for issuing pistol licenses. I don't recall anyone telling me that she signed off on their CCW on anything more than a "restricted to hunting and target shooting". AFAIK, she never issued 1 unrestricted CCW except maybe to a friend or crony. Yes, a judge can put imposed restrictions on where you can carry, each county makes their own rules, there's no statewide standard. She was never out front and in the lead for gun rights as judge or when she served as DA.
I believe all the noise you hear now is because she had her name and address published in the newspapers, self-preservation.
