Hot weather with high temps’ low humidity and Carolina blue skies that are so clear, I need sunglasses to be outside. Fat boy is to be delivered to the dealer on Monday, he is well in need of it. Ms. Pawngal arrives on Tuesday, looking forward to that. Under the heading of that’s got to be nice, we have apps. to get our hair done on the same day an hour apart. I’ll sit when she gets, her hair done, then she can get her manicure as I get my hair done.
I am not “whipped” but sometimes it pays to just go along to get along.
I am also on timeout a “timeout” at the 94th street Pub.
I really hope that life is good with everyone else.

I cannot complain......

We are hosting Missus Smiff's soon-to-be-divorced sister and niece, with their Three German Shepherds, A Rottweiler and two cats, all indoors. My wife's debit card got breached but we caught it before to much damage was done. However, everybody around us is having awful healtth problems. One friend got a defib implanted, another's wife had liver stones and she's been in bad shape, one is getting an aortic valve replaced, my sister is taped up for weeks after shoulder surgery, and another friend has cancer on his tongue and his prostate cancer has returned.

Believe me. I am GRATEFUL!!!!!!!!

Before I fly to visit Fred I'm spending a long weekend with my daughter and family. The 2 granddaughters are 14 and 16, I really miss when they were little and would come and stay with me for a week or so at a time. Taking them to the local amusement park was so much fun (and I got to be a kid again!) Now they are so busy with sports, jobs, and teenager stuff I don't get those times. Now I just hope I'm around long enough to see them become happy, successful adults.

Howdy Fred,

It's been a long while since we talked.

Age 71 has been the best year of my last 10 years.

Healthy, strong as an ox (still wield my chain saw for wood to stay
warm and sling an 8-lb maul to split it), busy, productive and still
social (although I sure don't mind holing up in the cabin for a week
or ten days at a time when I allow the weather to keep me in).

I'm also as happy as a clam at high water.

You two enjoy each other and your time together.

Good to hear, Fred, and glad that things are going well.

I've been riding along on the youth handcart treks sponsored during the summer by the American West Heritage Center where I volunteer. I've been in the saddle this past week, six to eight hours a day making sure nobody gets dehydrated, sun stroke, heat exhaustion, or blisters, and will continue through the end of June.

Will definitely get in touch when things settle down. Please give Pawngal my best.

Good to hear it Fred. Things here are a challenge, but I'll save that for it's own thread maybe.

I'm glad that you are all able to get together and enjoy some good food, a fine coiffure, and a good weather tour on the Fat Boy.

Stay safe ;)

greatgrandkids 3, comeing for a visit for a week from Tampa this week. we're both looking forward to see them. I'm sure many hrs. on the deck and back yard, glad both front and back yards are fenced. I like to cook and soninlaw is a chef, and the granddaughter loves the Burg.
