You know, after some thought I think it's better if I just mind my own buisness when it comes to others and their ammo buying habits.

Sorry about the drinking thing. I'll pray for you.

Prayer is good I highly recommend it. And thank you for that it just chaps my tail that some can do things with a clear conscience then boast about it. You know in hindsight maybe I should do the same.

I have to admit, being new to the forums, this was defiantly the WRONG thread to start posting in. I'm astonished with all the negative replies to OP. I'm a new 15-22 owner (post sandy-hook), so finding ammo has been extremely difficult. Starting from zero, I've been able to build my stock up to a level I'm comfortable with. I put in the leg work, checking all of the shops (local and big-box) 2 or 3 times a week. 90% of the time, I come away empty-handed. On occasion I'll make a find and admittedly, buy as much as I can. I do NOT feel guilty at all about it. Get out of the house and actively look for it, you're rewarded… or be lazy, go to wal-mart once a week to empty shelves and whine about it.

Welcome to the forums amd congrats on your new acquisition. My whole point of my opinion was if there is a limit on how many boxes you can purchase abide by the limit. Some stores choose not to have a limit based stock availability or other factors. Now if you choose to buy up everything that is your decision buy as much as finances allow or you are comfortable having. Me I wasn't fooled this time since the last panic I bought a little here and there so I'm comfortable with what I have. Just remember like you there are some new owners out there on the hunt for ammo too.

Although in general I don't agree with setting limits, with the panic buying going on lately I can see the need. No reason for someone to come into the store and buy all 20,000 rounds they have on the shelf only to have the next guy come in who only wants one brick of 500 rounds to take his kids shooting only to find the shelf empty because one guy took them all. It's not they he needs all 20,000 right now but he takes them anyway because everyone is going out of their minds. Again we are deep within a self-inflicted shortage that serves no one but the manufacturers. We are all getting hurt by this because of lack of product and higher prices. JUST STOP IT, PLEASE!!!

Strange, the rumor has it that Walmart management had caved to "Our Dear Leader" and was going to stop selling ammunition. Apparently not completely true.

Did y'all ever figure out who won this argument?
Did anyone change their mind?
I sure hope so.
I hate to think of all those electrons dying for nothing! ;)
BTW- you guys using up more electrons than you really need to are why some people can't find enough to post with.

Anybody ever read our rules?

Here's a good part very near the top of them-

UNDERSTAND this-
We WON'T change the World here, nor will we be able to fix all the ills afflicting our society.
This forum is not here for the purpose of converting other posters to your ideals, beliefs, and opinions.

Here's a good one also near the top-

2. Remember- opinions will differ. Get over it. State your opinion calmly, and allow others to state theirs. Discussion will be fine, but there is no need to take a thread into a verbal fistfight or shouting match.
