an M&P 15-22.....saweet...
put about 200 rounds thru it today...had one FTF...
had the shop put on a BSA PMRS Multi-reticle site...
I just love that site...it works very well for me since I have some challenges viewing the oem sites clearly...

it took a few minutes to zero in the site but after that...it was all down hill...LOL...
im really impressed with the 15-22...light, no recoil, fun to shoot and ammo is inexpenisve...

i have one small complaint - loading the magazine...LOL
it just takes way too long IMO.....;)

i will post up some pics soon

I did the same thing (early x-mas present) and went out to shoot today as well. 250 rounds with no jams!

You bought it and shot it the same day? Lucky =[
I bought it last Thursday..Ten days is a LONG time haha

yeup....bought it at the gun shop/range where I am a member...got my first mod there as well...the BSA PMRS...
i am totally psyched....

it did take me a while to site it in...i had to learn on-the-go ...but i did watch a few of Bretts videos this morning so I would have a little knowledge before I got there...
loading the mag video came in handy...

will be getting a sling and bi-pod next...

pics as promised!

I opted to pick up a sight while I was there...just looking for a simple red dot to help out with my visual challenges...
Rob mounted it on the rifle, I paid up then directly over to the range...spent some time siting it in then had a blast...only had time for 200 rounds...use CCI mini mags...

here are some pics...

here is a side view of the BSA...on the dial are numbers from 0-5?? its the switch/intensity knob

pic of reticle selector (sorry..not very clear)..4 different types

lastly I tried to capture a pic of the site while on with my favorite reticle
(brings me back to those old submarine movies)

Oh, you got it bad.... and that's good. :D
Welcome. I'm already about $600 in the hole in mods.
I did get an additional 5 magazines that I load up before I go to the range. I may buy more for a full 100 rounds.

yeah...LOL...any excuse...:)

if i do this thing like i do my cars and trucks...there's gonna be moths in the wallet...

been awhile since I used a crayon!!

so, ive been lookin at all the 15-22s in the pic thread...
like the art work for sure, so I decided to give the tacticrayola look a chance...
had to go to my neighbors for some crayons...funny how she didnt even ask me what i was gonna use them for...LOL

i tried rem oil and wd 40...the wd40 worked the best...for removal of the excess wax...
here's a cell phone pic..

Great Christmas present, the more you shoot it the more you're going to like it.

some of the christmas gifts came this week....

1. UTG bipod
2. Spikes tactical "fart" can...LOL...I meant 1-car fake can
3. UTG sling swivel...

I will post up some pics over the weekend..

just got my mags (3) from GT distributors along with some shoot-n-see targets and a blackhawk 2pt sling...
gonna order somemore mags after christmas..

:)

had my first opportunity to do some plinking at an outdoor range this weekend.....Green Ridge State Forest in Western MD....used Federal bulk 36gr HPs..temps were in the mid to low 20s....put about 300rds thru with no FTEs or FTFs...the UTG bipod set up worked well along with the BSA red dot..
it was very sunny and snow covered...had to dial up the frequency to max to get a good visual....got some nice groupings at 25yds..
