Here where I live there was a group of 90 plus old farts with the designation on their tee shirts, The Mighty Nineties.
Why don't those of us who fall in that age group include The Mighty Nineties in our signature line. I will be the first.
I don't know how many of us there are that fall in that age group but it will be interesting to see.

Good idea, can someone remind me in 10 years to do this, thank you.

The Mighty 90s Club

I mean no disrespect, but Here in my neck of the woods, very few of us 90yr old folks, qualify for membership in your Mighty 90s club, or for that matter would want to be a member, and frolic with its members in their alleged activities. I believe the Mighty 90s Club to be a fictitious club, existing in the minds of its members only.

Most folks, including myself, 90 years of age, consider themselves fortunate to get from any room in their home, to the bathroom in time for its proper usage.

I really don't understand why you would post something so unreal. I don't know any ninety year old's that frolic or have alleged activities. The Club was a one time deal honoring those that reached the 90's age and the shirts were part of the celebration. You are better than than what you wrote.
I am 97 years old and proud of it but so far have avoided the cranky bit.
Mighty 90's on the signature line just lets people know that we have made that goal. Not too many do. Smile, it won't hurt.

Aw, cut Chubbo some slack. Sure, he's not as upbeat as you, but there is some humor in his closing comments that bears noting.
I have all the respect in the world for you guys, I am 20 years away and know the old grouch syndrome firsthand..:)

Glad you're having some fun with it Graydon.
There's not much chance that someone gets to be your age without a "mighty" effort, both physically and mentally. Keep on being mighty.

I'm not there yet, but my Aunt Gloria is just a few months younger than you, and is the "mighty" core of our family.
She had been living alone since her husband died, but recently moved in with her great-granddaughter's family. Our extended family visit as often as we can, and always have fun with her. She's like a loveable female version of the politically incorrect character Archie Bunker.

She's in the middle, her brothers Dom (my father) on the left, Louie on the right, and father in back.

I’m sorry, old friend, if I unwittingly ruffled your feathers, and hope I’m better than you think. When you stated that where you live, there was a group of 90+ year old farts that were labeled as such, on their tee-shirt sleeves. I unwittingly assumed that those old folks were an organization of sorts, and functioned as such. It seems that it was a one time, gathering. I was wrong about that group, and your affiliation with them. I used a poor description of their activities, and I sincerely hope that you can forgive and overlook my mistake. BTW It does hurt me to smile, as does everything on my body

You are OK and I am OK. Lets just forget the whole deal and be friends. Us old guys have to stick together.
