Just got a Sigma 9mm!!

There ain't a thing wrong with that target. Your basics are already in place and your groups will only get better as you get more trigger time.

Yep, it will get better the more you shoot... and Dunns has 9mm Blazer brass for $10.99! Also Wally world usually has Federal for $9.97

I stopped back by Dunn's and got another box of Blazer Brass on my way home from shooting actually! lol... Walmart also has WWB value packs $18 for 100

I quit using WWB in the bulk packs after getting two under-powered rounds in one box. I shot the C9 once and it just sounded like someone sneezing, and the slide didn't even try to cycle. My buddy says "I saw it fall out of the barrel" and reached down about two feet in front of me and picked up the bullet. Few minutes later, same thing. That was enough for me. Plus Federal is actually a little cheaper... lol.

You guys all suck. The Walmart white boxes here are 23.64 and you can't even get the federal stuff you all are talking about.

Wow... I've heard WWB wasn't good, but I didn't think it was that bad! Thanks for the heads up... I'll stick to the Blazer Brass from Dunn's until I save up enough brass to start reloading.

The bulk pack of 100 is the only one I've ever had any problem with, they are obviously ones that were discarded from quality control of the 50 round boxes, the length varies widely and many Sigma owners have said that the pistol is very sensitive to length of the round, which is the case with mine as well.

Some years ago I was the Sgt & Firearms Instructor for a small (50 man) Sheriff's Department. I ordered and used WW USA 'White Box' by the case, burned it as fast as we got it and kept ordering more because it was the cheapest, good quality ammo we could get. I have personally used that ammo in 40 S&W, 45 Auto and 357 Mag and have never, in altogether probably 30,000 rounds, had a round fail. Their USA .45 ACP 230 JHP is good enough that I carried it for years and I would not hesitate to do so again.

While I have not used a lot of the 9mm in question, one of my sons has used probably 2000 rounds of it with no issues. Many of the cadets at his Academy used it as well. However this is not the first complaint I have seen regarding 9mm USA ammo and I do not doubt that there have been problems. I have to wonder if some bad batches got out.

Thats weird. Thats all I shoot anymore.

Might be a fluke, but I am a fast learner. If their quality control was lax enough to let two out of 100 get out with little or no powder in them, then that's good enough for me to move on to another manufacturer, at least until I experience problems with them as well, then I may have to break down and start reloading myself so I have no one to blame but me!
