I have been looking all week online at the little J-Frames and managed not to order one. I just went to my LGS to pick up a few flies and they had a new 637 on the wall. Just my luck. I had to have it. It will go well with the Highway Patrolman from years back. We are headed out to shoot it this afternoon. Oh well, sometimes you just can't lose for winning. LOL

Congrats! My 642 is my least favorite gun to shoot, but it goes with me practically everywhere and is the last gun I would ever sell.

Congrats on the new J frame. I predict the trigger isn't going to be quite as smooth as your other revolver, lol. The first handgun I ever owned was a used Highway Patrolman with a six inch barrel. Wish I still had that gun!

Thanks guys, the 637 is a keeper. While I only shot pop cans at short range it did fine. I am shooting a touch high but I can certainly work that out. It certainly was more of a challenge than the 28 but not as bad as I had expected. I imagine it will go on 1 more plinking trip before I go to the range and do some accuracy/ammo testing. Next up, maybe a Governor should be sworn in.

Congrats on your new snubbie!. Remember, you can't have just one!

Were you shooting a little high with 158gr ammo? If so, try 125gr. New revolvers are probably being regulated for 125gr these days, since this weight is all the rage in self defense snubbies. Congrats on the purchase!
