Talking about indoor ranges and friends.
I like everybody but there are a considerable amount of people who don't want me as a friend.
Now, that is not a particular bother. I am pretty honest and open without much hidden. I figger if someone wanted me as a friend that they should know the truth about me so they can make an honest decision.
I really make no effort to win friends---I like folks to have a choice.
I don't have many--what I call close friends--but it is not because I am particular about people and can take or leave people alone.

I have lots of "aquantances", but very few true friends, but those that are my friends would do anything for me as I would for them.

Same here. We have travelled the world so much that we are used to it being just us. I've reached out to a few people but if they don't respond I'm okay with that. I've never had any life-long school yard buddies.

I've learned not to judge by appearance. My neighbor looks like a neo nazi skin head. He's a great guy! Look as weird as you like, just don't sneak up on me.

Back when I sold Toyota parts in the Washington DC area, the other 2 counter guys were white. Whenever a "scary looking" customer (usually someone darker complected) came in the other 2 guys would disappear.
That was fine with me, they usually turned out to be down to earth people. The other guys can help the argumentative, hostile beaurocratic jerks all they want.
