Just Noticed This Forum Covers Knives Too

As I was browsing the site and being the newb that I am, I was intrigued to see the mention of Knives in the description. I don't really collect them per say, but I do pick one up every now and then that strikes my fancy. I have a particular weakness for Damascene steel. Hence my latest purchase below. I got it from Mike Williamson, an author who has many side gigs the main one being Sharp Pointy Things. Great author and trash poster extrodonaire. The knife is from a maker in Wazirabad Pakistan that Mike is the US distributor for. I also have a Damascene KaBar from him and as you can see he does gorgeous work.

What have you bought lately or that you just enjoy showing off?

Newb too, and I was wondering who else like knives here.

I guess you could call me a collector ... but all my knives get used, I have a knife rotation, etc.

This is my EDC today, the main knife being from Carothers Performance Knives, a family shop/maker in NC. Nathan Carothers has worked wonders on his interpretation of CPM 3V, a high performance and very tough steel.

I have a couple few knives. Hell there's even a John Wayne knife in there. Had to edit one to keep from getting dinged. Left out my Benchmade Infidel I carry.

How about a photo thread with handgun + knife. It can be small handgun/big knife, big handgun/small knife, big handgun/big knife… whatever. I’ll start with a BIG knife/small handgun.

Here is a shot I took of a cheap bayonet I have (I have better ones) that mainly shows off the not cheap mount for it. The Geissele Super Stabby Bayonet Mount (what it's really called) has since been discontinued, but it allowed full length handguards to take a bayonet.





Here is a shot of the better bayonet. I wanted a OKC, but they got bought out and shut down. This one is a Kronos if I remember correctly.

All great guns and knives. I have way too many to guns and knives to show so I’ll just keep on reading and look at y’all’s posts. One day I’ll figure out how to put pictures of my favorite S&W’s and other guns and knives on this site.
