All I did to the trigger was polish it up with flitz and put a set of JP trigger springs in it and she is good to go.
Not as nice as the rock river 2 stage, but for 10 bucks and a little elbow grease it turned out very nice....

I went Geisselie SSA 4.5 pound pull on the trigger, Apex free floating hand guard, and Nikon M-308 on the optic.
To narrow down the answers, what is your planned use for the rifle? Hunting, competition shooting, general purpose tactical, or long range shooting. You could combine some of them but there will be compromises where some shooting aspects will lose out in favor of others.

As far as optics, a lot depends on budget. I'm not a fan of any bullet drop reticles. Have you considered a Mil/Mil reticle/turret setup? There are a lot of options, but I'm talking about something like this....

Get a nice optic and shoot it first, and if you really want a new trigger (the stock one is OK) I would suggest the Geisselie after trying one out last weekend. As far as handguard, you may find that you don't want one when you see how good it shoots already. I get sub MOA with 165 gr. so I'm just keeping what came on it to keep it light.

Ok, which of the three is the higher priority? A long range rifle can be heavy to carry for hunting. From everything I've read, and what little time I've spent with my M-308, the price for the performance is very good. The factory trigger is a little heavy but not as bad as some that are out there and it runs pretty darn smooth for a factory trigger. You might want to shoot it some to make a final determination on the trigger. Of course, if long range is a priority, you might want to swap out the trigger anyway. Since it is going to be a field rifle as well, you might want to look at a 4 or 4.5 pound trigger over the lighter ones, just for safety's sake. The hand guard can be last. Out of the box, most people are very happy with the rifle's accuracy. Check out Nutnfancy's review on youtube. One of the other members posted it in a thread. You might want to look at a Magpul "drop in" hand guard instead because of the added heat shield and I think it feels better than the stock one. Whatever way you go, have fun!
Thanks for the advise and yes i do plan on shooting it first after i get some optics and maybe a bipod lol and from there i will make me decision on everything i cant wake after this 10 day waiting period is over and i did his video is one of the reason i decided to get the mp 10

If you're anything like me you will also want a rail-mounted bottle opener, corkscrew, and a stock with a storage compartment for you swizzle sticks. (Please shoot drunk responsibly)
This Leupold Rifleman scope is a very good basic scope. Crystal clear at all powers. Very reasonably priced also. I have 2 of these I got for $175 several years ago. You can see and drill 1 inch targets at 100 yards easy.

They make a 4-12 power that I am not as pleased with. My eyes don't work as well with it.
Dont skimp on rings. Get a good solid set, preferably a set will let you remove and remount the scope without having to re-zero it. I spent $80+ for my rings and they have been a very good investment. Back when I would take my sons shooting my AR i would make them shoot clays at 100 yards with the sights on the carry handle, then I'd mount the scope and tell them shoot all the pieces because i didn't want to see any orange left. It was good practice for them (and me too)
