Those clips look a little large. They are overkill for your typical paper. You need some small clips

I've got a few of those big blue spring metal ones. They sure are high capacity. The monster size (the one's I snagged whenever I could) will hold almost a full inch of stuff.

And will take off a finger if not used properly. Throw those things in the trash, or sell them at the next buy-back program. Do it for the children!
