My wife and I just went thru Clyde, Ohio...WOW!

President Trump is on his way there to tour the Whirlpool Corporation which he helped out with the tariffs a while back...

Lots of people on the sides of Route 20 to welcome President Trump...

LOTS of positive aura in Clyde, Ohio today...

It is VERY NEAT to witness this visit from the President of the United States...so very wonderful that he is coming here...

Ohio wine country, nice in the summer, brutal in the winter. There are some great little towns and restaurants around there still. I spent a lot of time antiquing that area when I lived in Hudson, Ohio. Like everything else, I get back there less and less.

Closest I got to him was when he came to St. Augustine.

I figured they wouldn't allow real cameras into the event so I had to use my cell phone.

Even while he was first campaigning he traveled with a very large group.

I spent a good part of my life in Ohio, but I had never heard of Clyde before today, and had to look up its location. I have spent very little time in NW Ohio, mainly in southern and central Ohio, plus several (bad) years living in the Cleveland area.

Trip thru Clyde brought back memories...

It was very neat going thru Clyde today and witnessing all the positives toward President Trump...it made me feel proud to be an American...

Seeing the Whirlpool Corporation in Clyde also had special good memories for me...I worked there as a fork lift operator in the summers of 1968 and 1969 when I was going to Pharmacy college at Ohio Northern University in Ada, Ohio...

What a great day it was...Roger

That is one small town. Been there. I had a wrongful death case there. I really liked the area. A key gun case in Ohio came out of there on self-rule vs. state rule. Clyde tried to impose more restrictive gun laws than the state enacted. It lost. The Ohio Supreme Court found state law supersedes local laws so that the gun laws will be uniform throughout the state.

I had an Uncle that was from Ostrander. Have been thru a few times while en route to Ind. Other than that I don't know much and certainly did not know Whirlpool was located there.

We in Pittsburgh call Cleveland "The mistake on the lake!" I suppose it's just friendly Steelers/Browns thing. But, I saw the Rolling Stones there around '77/78; worst concert I ever attended!

I had no regrets seeing Cleveland in the rear view mirror. I can say nothing good about it, except that it's probably better than Chicago.
