Just picked up this 17-3 (22cal) Came with the paper work and orginal hang tag.Not sure if there should be something in the box for the gun to lay in. Photo Album - Imgur

Out of curiosity I looked at the inflation adjusted cost from 1972. That gun cost the equivalent of $630 today.

Indeed. They look beautiful, shoot great, are cheap to feed, and as much fun as any gun I've ever shot. What's not to love?

I believe you can get it from Smith and Wesson. Also, I think Brownell's has it.
