I based my comment on what I see in my 4th edition. D.B. Wesson was given the first gun, serial number 632132. Mine being 632222 - 632132 = 90. Ninetieth not nineteen. Thank you and the other folks who have posted their shipping dates. I am going to letter mine anyways. Even though you all have gotten me in the ballpark. Hopefully it shipped somewhere interesting.

Wow Dino44, I obviously can’t read! Thanks for the correction. If I’m not mistaken (which I obviously could be), there were other gun models manufactured that could’ve fallen within that span. Plus, knowing that S&W did not make guns in serial number order could also throw these calculations off.
