After reading a very interesting thread on this forum a few days ago about K-38 revolvers with the large ejector rod knob, I decided to contact David Wilson so that he could add mine to his database. He encouraged me to publish it here. K4568 shows its age with plenty of wear and marks. The grips are not original to the revolver. As David's list included K4563, K4564, K4566, K4593, K4709 and K23280, this revolver should increase the count to 7 known K-38 LERKs.

Sandy, let me now publicly congratulate you for having acquired one of this rare and very desirable variety of the early Masterpiece line. You now own 14 percent of the entire known supply of LERK K-38s. Sadly, the rest of us who have one have just watched our percentage share of the stockpile decline from to that level from 16 percent!

There are of course more to be found. A previously unknown specimen seems to turn up about every three years or so, so everybody else keep your hopes up and your eyes open.

Don't be afraid to shoot it!

Whoa Mama!!

I thought I hit the jackpot with a couple of K-38 One Liners.
I think the only thing that would top this in the Masterpiece world would be a One Liner Lerk K-32. I've seen one here on the forum. I really like the One Liners.
Very nice!
Bob
