K- bar

Saw several I would like to have, but didn’t think the prices were good enough(compared to street price) to make me buy one when I had just ordered a knife. I will say I was sorely tempted last week by a Busse, at a price that is quite a bit more than I have ever paid for a knife. I slept on it, and good sense prevailed.

Darn, missed out. I would have bought a Big Brother.

I hate flash sales.

It’s been extended another day .

Then apparently it wasn't applicable to the Big Brother because I checked and it was still listed at normal price at the time my last post was made.

You got to watch what you buy. Most of the companies have lines or have totally went off shore. Same thing has happened with time honored brands in Europe. I got sucked in with Marble a few years ago. Since I have gotten gifts Gerber, Kershaw,Buck- all junk blades in fancy handles.
Watch what you are putting out bucks for. A lot is Chinese Junk and you are buying the name.

Thanks to the OP for the notice, bought a couple with the discount.

And as far as K-Bar specifically, they have a handy website link to “Made in USA”…both of mine were off that section. :)

Agreed.

KA-BAR does however do a good job of stating country of origin, type of steel, etc and is pretty above board in letting the customer figure out what’s what.
