.....keep hearing rumors that one is going to come one day...if S&W finally does I just hope it isn't a 6" full underlug like they did with the 16-4...

Just make it like their new Model 19 w/o the IL...they balance nicely....

I had this one built by Hamilton Bowen about 15 years ago. Wanted a long tube. It's a 16-4 barrel, pre-15 frame, K22 cylinder, vintage Leupold scope with Buehler mount and rings. It's a tack driver.

Here is a Ruger version. Lipsey's 5" GP-100, came with a much nicer than normal Ruger trigger. Don't know if Lipsey's had something to do with that. Great shooting gun.
