It’s been awhile since I’ve replaced one, but now I need to replace the white O/L on my M66-2 and I can’t remember the height blade I need… hopefully someone out there in SW land can help me… thanks in advance!
The easiest way is simply measure the rear sight slide that is in your gun right now and order a kit the same height. Run the sight all the way to the left and measure the over-hanging part of the slide with micrometer or dial caliper.
Be aware that the W/O is now just painted on. has been for 20-30 years. and often simply wipes off during cleaning. If the W/O is the issue I suggest just leaving well enough alone and saving the cost & trouble of replacing the slide.
Thanks all, the blade on the revolver now got bent, nearly broken off so I’ll go with the .146 height, Midway has the kit for about $20 bucks delivered…
