K Frame Day at the Range

OK, now you have lost another good excuse for lousy shooting... you have a couple of good solid guns that get the job done if you do your part. Now you have to get out to the range and work on your own skills. I call it "tightening up the nut on the butt" and as with most of us, it's something I need to do more often.

Froggie
Went again last night. This nut is getting tighter, slowly.

Aaaaaaaah, that's really good shooting for 25 yards double action. In my opinion.
Thanks ABPOS! You're too kind.
But, whenever I start thinking I'm getting good at this, I go take a look at my gunsmith's targets. He's a nationally ranked bullseye shooter. I have a LOOONG way to go, and my body (eyes, mostly) is past its prime. Nothing to do but keep trying to get better, I guess. And it's more fun than watching TV.

... Mostly happy with results. Need to adjust elevation on K22. Need some new glasses, too.

Great guns and a fun time at the range... I would comment on your pattern - a lot of chest surgery, a few errant attempts at ear piercing, and a couple of molars removed... that guy is not going anywhere!!!:D;)

Thanks for sharing,

Thanks, Chief!
Went back yesterday, with the M10-8, that I just bought for myself, from Bud's. I cleaned up the inside, and swapped out some springs (first time, for me). Smooth as silk and no misfires! I also took my M18. Adjusted the rear sight a little, over the course of the session .
This time I tried shooting with both eyes open, instead of just the right, two hand, double action, 25 yards. sitarting to get a little better results.

Again, great double action shooting, looks like you nicked him with that one warning shot, they're not supposed to be so close. lol. I'm looking forward to a range trip in the near future. Had a growth taken off my ear last month and haven't been able to wear hearing protection. Going back today for a final cut and sewing and maybe I'll be in good shape by next month. I have an 18 and 15 I want to run some rounds through. I do have another problem, the larger my collection gets, the longer it takes me to run rounds through them all.
