Been looking for a 2.5" M19 for some time, but never found a decent one...
Closest I have is this dumpy 3" M19, what's the best way to shorted the barrel? Hacksaw.....? Then glue on a fiber optic front sight?

Snub Nose K Frame

I have a 3 if you count the 3" 64-6.
An M&P from 1948 and a 64-2.

Wife has a nickeled 10-5.

This M&P (1957-58) is finish deficient, but still locks up solid.

I stopped carrying my 640 because of arthritis in my hands. The additional weight, plus the square butt on my model 15 makes it a little harder to conceal but so much easier to hit my target. I recently got this set of elk horn grips from Ken. They are a little fatter than my Magna grips and work great for me. Arn't they purdy?
Metalife plating may be the next improvement.

My very first CCW back in 1979 was a 2" RB M10. Regrettably I sold it and bought a 2" M60 instead. While I do prefer the size of a J Frame for EDC, the M10 handled stiff loads much better. I always though that for a EDC/CCW the J frame suited my need better and that the 3" barreled version of a M10, M65 and alike is a better option than the 2". I also always thought the 2" M10 looked a bit funny - not that it really matters much. The 3" version is much better balanced IMO.

I really, really like the 3 inch models even though they may not technically be snubbies. Never had gun/fun money when I found one; never found one when I had gun money. Oh well.
