Have a four inch 19-3. Good shooter. Hand has three pins. One broke off at the bottom. Replaced with a new hand. Dropped right in. Works fine in SA and DA. Problem noted with SA is that the trigger pull is extremely light. It feels almost like the hammer wants to go down when you bearly touch the trigger. Any ideas? Sincerely. bruce.

Have you checked it for push off? (also, check trigger pull weight with gauge)
Could also be evidence of a weak or altered rebound slide spring. Is the rebound spring a full length OEM spring?

Tomorrow morning, after coffee, etc., I will take a look at the rebound slide spring. Do not know if it is full length or not. My wife bought this revolver from a pawn shop for me back in 2017. Has given good service. It's not a safe queen but I am thankful to have it. Will look into it tomorrow. Had not thought about the rebound slide spring. Would be great if that was all that was needed. If nothing else was changed, (springs), check to see if the new Hand is "locking up" (engaging) the Cylinder ratchets as they should be. Since that is the only thing you changed, I'd always suggest looking at the last thing that was done.
