Update,,, My online dealer has a 98 % condition s&w k22 Target masterpiece 6” barrel no box listed for $1,200. My point is the values are climbing on these.

I have a s&w k22 1948 6” target masterpiece that’s 99.99% condition tucked away I never shot it probably never will.

My first S&W. A 1948 K-22 purchased new by my late Dad. Original magnas in background. The stunning targets from a forum member. And that's the Bauer Bros. holster he kept it stored in, and wrapped in an old pillow case, in a lock box with his Dad's 1911 made in 1918.

Don't Smiths talk good. I can hear them also.
I have bought almost every K- .22 I saw in the last 13 years. The Best one is a 6"- K in probably 98% condition in 2015.

Love .22’s in general and revolvers in particular. Right now I have a birth year 17-2 from the 60’s and an early 80’s 34-1 2” both probably the last 22’s and maybe even past handguns I will part with likely left to someone in my will. Every bit as accurate as any auto I have shot and perhaps more. My dream smith would be a traditional style k 10 shot blued. I detest stainless and underlugs but wouldn’t mind a 10 round capacity at times. I even shoot my 2” in steel challenge matches, rarely needing the 6th round and my scores are not too far behind those using fancy custom guns and optics
