I often think I should have named my little rescue dog Strange, like his boyhood pet.

His stories are almost dangerously funny--you can spring a rib laughing.

I love his stuff; but I just won a karma recently, so please don't count me in.

I'm not familiar with his writing. I do like other humorists. Mark Twain, E.B. White and James Thurber are all favorites.

Thank you very much. This is great, we are just starting our rainy season and it will last until May. I now have something to enjoy. I have not read a McManus' book in years.

The books came today. I opened the box and started grinning it was at that time my wife grabed a book and went into her office. Just as she was closing the door she yelled over to me "let me know when dinner is ready, I will be busy until then"

Thank you again, as soon as I get the dinner dishes done I'm going to settle down with one of those books.
