You can thank Steve (aka sth44) for this one.
By way of introduction: I'm a gun nut who's been burning powder since about 1953. Living in the Maine woods at present; past homes have included Alaska, Arizona, Connecticut and somewhere else that I forget at the moment. Current favorite Smiths include a 1948 vintage K-22, an old 24 (which Steve has kindly supplied a long sought front sight for) and a Classic DX, .44. I'm also partial to Rugers, Sako's and the occasional old Winchester.
'Nough of that.
The give-a-way;
2 items, the first being an N-frame hammer, wide target variety. Grooves have been ground smooth but otherwise no alterations, filing etc. This one goes to the first person responding.
Second item; is for someone who can give it to a young shooter who's just starting out and likes to shoot .22 l.r. It's a Flambeau "Dial-a-Shell". If you aren't familiar with them its a plastic unit that holds a box of 50 .22's, clips onto your belt, and drops individual rounds into your hand with the turn of a round nob at the lower end. They stopped making them years ago and I've been looking for one ever since. Finally found several, and so one goes to the first response on behalf of a young .22 shooter.
Again, Thanks to Steve for setting this "Karma Give-a-Way" in motion.
Happy Trails,
Rob
