Keep a close eye out for your rebate check!

Does the Milano site only show online rebate submissions? I mailed mine and it doesn't show up in the site.

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

Yes the mailed ones do show up on the site.

I mailed mine in and it shows to have shipped on the 29th. I haven't received it yet but it appears their delivery time is around 10+ days.

It probably depends on when you mailed it in. Mine went in really early.

Entered = 4/14
Shipped = 6/23
Arrived = 7/6

It's not like my kids aren't going to eat, but 3 months for a measly $75 check is BS. I submitted mine on 4/22, and nothing is showing up as shipped. And 10 days to get it to you? Are they using the Pony Express?

And 3+ plus months for a rebate check, that frankly, they know a portion of those who bought one with the available rebate aren't even going to send in, is unacceptable. S&W's excuse of "we didn't anticipate such a high volume" is also BS. You offer a new gun for less than $300 after rebate and it's gonna spark the interest that they knew it would and would be happy to receive. They just didn't care.

Guys who bought an XD and are getting 4 free mags, a holster, and a mag pouch, are getting the stuff in their hands 3 weeks after they submit it.

Wow, almost three months!

I know there's another thread on Shield rebates. Just wanted to advise everybody to watch their mail closely. My check came today in a small white envelope (the old fashion personal envelope size) that said MPS, Inc on the return address. I thought it was junk mail, opened it anyway, and was surprised to find the $75 postcard style rebate check inside. I submitted mine on April 8.

S&W really are behind. I called the rebate 866 number today to be told by some 3rd party company that they weren't taking messages and to "please hang up". Not a very warm and fuzzy feeling.

Last week, S&W formally announced that their inventory is bloated to the point it will take many more months (and likely plenty of rebates) to get it under control.

I agree, nobody in my family will go hungry but I would have expected a $75 rebate on a firearm to be managed at least as professionally as $10 on a few boxes of ammo.

They've apparently used a third party (Milano) to manage the entire process. I wonder whether they're satisfied with Milano's performance.

I registered a couple purchases on their site more than 5 weeks ago and a couple more a month ago. In this day and age, what justification can there be for failing to acknowledge receipt of my submission (nothing in the mail, nothing on Milano's website, nothing by email.)?

I'm a S&W fanboy (inherited one classic and have bought 7 new ones in the last 6 months) but this is just ridiculous IMHO.

Actually, I just checked my printed submission. I submitted it on 4/14 online. Milano shows it in the system on 4/22. So 12 weeks since I submitted it online and not even showing shipped yet. Then, when they do ship it, I can another 10 days. So when all is said and done, I'm guessing 14-16 weeks to get my rebate.

And they want me to buy ANOTHER M&P for the rebate? No thanks. Service sucks on this rebate.

And no telling how many buyers never even send it in. Which I'm sure they're counting on.

I mailed mine in toward the end of May, not sure of the date exactly. Milano does not have it posted as of today. Should I resend everything? I bought it from PSA, so I didn't have a true receipt; is that what's holding me up?

Not sure what to tell you. I submitted two on their site late in May and had righteous invoices from Brownells. They also don't show online yet.

PSA order emails work fine.

Not everyone - all of mine have taken ~5 to 7 weeks. Still faster than S&W though.

Rebate

I check the Milano Rebate inquiry and it says Shipped Date : 06/23/2017. Does that mean they mailed it on 6/23? Just wondering as I haven't received it yet. I open all mail.

I bet it's in your mailbox today. Mine shipped 6/19, got it 7/3. Seems to take 2 weeks to arrive.

Same here......should be here any day.

Still not even showing mine as shipped. I submitted it on 4/14, they have it on their website as 4/22, and still nothing. There was another post on here about an email S&W sent apologizing for the delay. Said any submissions in the month of April will be processed by July 7. Here it is, July 9, and nothing. Then even when they do mark it as shipped, I can expect to wait 10 more days.

S&W dropped the ball on this one. I'm not depending on the check to live, but what's owed to me is owed to me, and they really screwed this one up.
