I'm starting to see some at the local gun shops. $550-$600 seems to be the going rate for a MOE FDE around here (Central Oklahoma) right now. Picked up my son's on Christmas eve for $540 and they had another on the shelf.

I would hold out just a little longer and keep looking and avoid paying too much.

OK isn't a bad drive for me. Where about did you see it? I would be willing to drive there/see if they would be willing to ship to a local FFL.

one of the local dealers near me has about 15 ARs in stock right now but i wont pay the prices they want.the cheapest one they had was a DPMS with no sights,forward assist,dust cover,and no shell deflector and they were asking $1300.from there the prices went up.for a basic carbon bushmaster the price was $1500.i cant justify paying more than double the price for a gun because of possible gun ban so i put money down on the M&P 15-22.the 15-22 was selling for $485 which to me is a fair price considering the current state of things right now.if you HAVE to have one now and are willing to pay the price my local dealer does ship to other FFL dealers around the country.

Just get the base model and build it up with the moe parts if thats what you want.

I don't know what MOE FDE stands for, but I know where I live, there is a mossberg 15-22 and a SW 15-22, both used and I'm great show. And I'm probably buying one of them. One is 499 the other 299. If you need to, I can help in acquiring it for you

Naturally, with the impending AWB scare, these things are super hard to find. I have been creeping on these forums for about six months and my plan was always to get a new MOE FDE with my income tax return.

Well, thanks to some insanity, some despicable tragedies, a fearful public and a frightening government, my hand has been forced on trying to find one now.

If anyone has a line on a new/gently used 15-22 MOE FDE, please let me know. Price matters, but I am willing to entertain some pretty extreme offers. Basically, if you find/see one, let me know!!!!! Please .

There is a add in the M&P15-22 classified of a gentleman selling new ones for $399 plus $15 shipping to your local FFL dealer. I would jump on that deal.

$699? Good thing I got my 15-22 for $425 a few months ago. I just built a 5.56 Spikes Tactical AR for under $800. I don't think that will happen again.

The Mossberg looks like an airsoft gun when you disassemble it. Lots of screws and internals. The take down of the S&W is soooo much nicer. I talked my dad out of the Mossberg and into the S&W because you can field strip it just like his AR.

Yep, you pay for what you get applies to this hobbie. My friend has the 702. He let me shoot it before I bought my 15-22, I liked it but I had more money to spend then he did so yea. Needless to say I made the right choice.
