Kel Tec PF 11 9mm

I had one many years ago. At least I remember having a Kel-Tec P-11. Same gun? Looked like the one in the picture here. It was my first dedicated "carry gun" after I got my first CHP. I'd never even heard of Kel-Tec at the time. It turned out to be a pretty good gun. Kicked like a mule, but other than that gave me no trouble. I made a trigger stop for it out of a pencil eraser glued to the back of the trigger with super glue, (it stayed on as long as I had the gun) and filed to fit. I then filed down the tip of the trigger to stop it from hurting my finger. The recoil wasn't really awful unless I went past 50 rounds or so. If I did my arm would tingle for a few days. It was paper plate accurate out to about 15 yards or so, but I was a lot younger then. At least I could hit a paper plate with it back then. A lot of people complained about the trigger, but I've always been a revolver guy, so it wasn't a big problem to me. It was very similar to a SCCY 9mm I tried later on for grins and giggles.

I eventually got something else and sold the KT to a fellow I worked with. If the price was right, I'd consider another, if for no other reason than "old times sake." I probably wouldn't buy it, but I'd consider it. I'm old and a 380 guy now. :)
