Kim Rhode Makes History!

Believe it or not, my Homepage, MSNBC, noted that, with a quite good article about her, including a quote from the 37 year old housewife and mother that the Second Amendment is not about skeet guns, but is really to let us have guns to defend ourselves against both criminals and our own government, should it become tyrannical.

Someone in MSNBC has probably been fired for allowing that article to appear. The mainstream media is so liberal, they must have really slipped up to allow that story !

Good on Kim Rhode! That was quite an achievement. That MSNBC has acknowledged it is about equally impressive.

Kim practices at a range near me. I've sat and watched her "work out" for a while. She shoots between 500 and 1,000 a day when she's training for an event.

More than an Olympian, more than a great shot, more than a 2A supporter, she's a great person. By far the best ambassador the shooting sports has. One of the most dominant shooters the shotgun sports have ever seen and she's still humble.

Congrats Kim!

I used to know Jo Anne Hall, when she was Women's IPSC champion. That means that she was the top female artist in combat style pistol shooting...in tne world!

I wrote an article about her for the Colt Handgunning Annual and enjoyed being hosted in her home. She even let my kids, then quite young, come over and coached my son with a Colt .45 auto while my daughter played with her poodle. The son told me recently that her coaching that day helped him to survive several gunfights in Iraq, where his skills made him very effective with a pistol as well as with a rifle.

Jo Anne was smart, articulate, and very, very good with a gun.

That could make many people rather vain. Moreover, she was also a Dallas Cowboys cheerleader! But neither achievement caused her to be arrogant, as some celebs are. She was a joy to know.

We are fortunate to have shooters of this order. I hope that this talented shotgunner, Kim Rhode, gets on Fox News and becomes an excellent ambassador for gun rights. She'd be ideal for NRA ads.

I'm the same age as Kim. Have been a fan since 1996. Amazing to think that someone has been on the top that long.
I will admit I thought she was pretty cute in 1996. :D

I do believe there is an athlete that has medaled in 6 Olympics already. A male shooter.

I was really hoping LA would get the 2020 games so she could get a Gold in front of the hometown crowd.
