WOW!

Eye-popping goodness right here. Both looks and feels amazing. This is my 1st 4" barreled 1911, and I'm now wondering what took me so long to get one.

On a side note: I'm excellent at buying myself Christmas presents. It seems I always manage to get myself just the right thing. ;)

They like to run wet during the break in period. Follow the break in instructions in the owner's manual and it will be amazing.

FINALLY made it to the range this afternoon after work.

This really is a sweet pistol. First 200 rounds tonight ran smoother than I'd hoped (1 stovepipe around the 5th mag or so - the rest ran perfect) So much for a break-in period on this one. :)

Accuracy is excellent. Crisp 4lb. trigger.

Happiness is a warm 1911

My first 1911 when I got back into shooting 20 years ago was Kimbers standard model with an external extractor. That gun was accurate and reliable right out of the box. I finally gave it to my son for Christmas 5-6 yrs ago
