Welcome to Cody and congratulations to Iggy. I doubt a family member of mine will ever sign up here, so it's nice to learn of family members that do.

Welcome to you, Cody, and a big thank you for your service!

And we love your dad here!

He is still on active duty. About 4 years to retirement, but I'm not sure they will be able to kick him out the door.

Cody:

Welcome to the forum and thank you sir for your service, past, present, and future.

Job Well Done!

In honor of our new member Marine! :D:D And thank you for your service.

A United States Marine was attending some college courses between assignments. He had completed missions in Iraq and Afghanistan. One of the courses had a professor who was an avowed atheist, and a member of the ACLU.

One day the professor shocked the class when he came in. He looked to the ceiling and flatly stated, GOD if you are real then I want you to knock me off this platform.I'll give you exactly 15 min.' The lecture room fell silent. You could hear a pin drop. Ten minutes went by and the professor proclaimed, 'Here I am GOD, I'm still waiting.'

It got down to the last couple of minutes when the Marine got out of his chair, went up to the professor, and cold-cocked him; knocking him off the platform. The professor was out cold. The Marine went back to his seat and sat there, silently.

The other students were shocked and stunned, and sat there looking on in silence. The professor eventually came to, noticeably shaken, looked at the Marine and asked, 'What in the world is the matter with you? 'Why did you do that?'

The Marine calmly replied, 'GOD was too busy today protecting America 's soldiers who are protecting your right to say stupid stuff and act like an idiot. So He sent me.'

Welcome Marine !!! I was an amphibious assault sailor on the old USS Iwo Jima LPH-2. We carried a compliment of 1500 Marines when ready for business. Anyway, thanks for your service, great people here, think you'll enjoy yourself, Shoo

Cody ,welcome and thank you for your service. Iggy, man you have to be proud! All my very best regards, Joe.

Thanks folks for the responses. I suspect Cody is off somewhere catchin' up on some quality time he has missed while he was playin' in the sand or he would have thanked you too.

Congratulations Cody and welcome home. Thanks for all you have done Sir, it is appreciated.
Catching up is important. My son was a Marine and in Desert Storm. He seemed to do lots of catching up when he got home. It was good to have him home. I'm sure you and your families feel the same way.

WELCOME!

Welcome aboard Gunny and thank you for your service!

Your Daddy is well thought of on the forum and I'm mighty glad you're here.
