I've been buying a few knives lately, mostly fixed blade. Any recommendations on books that would help me learn what's what? Also, I bought a Boker Tree Brand today at a pawn shop that was missing the medallion. I only paid $5.00 but does anyone know where or if I can get one. Thanks.

I have collected antique knives for decades. The wife says I needed to slow down after the total exceeded 500. There are so many different style and types. I collect US combat knives and American folders. There are many books on the subject.

Knife Digest and Blade Magazine are great.
Any of the coffee table books on Randall Made knives are awesome and worth their weight in gold!
Collecting US Military Knives by Cole is great as well. Lot's of good info.
