EDITED HEADER: As to reflect KSDs great service.

As some of you know I was having some problems with the 3913 KSD grips I bought off of KSD amazon. After 2 INVALID tracking numbers were given and now all off the grips sold by KSD have mysteriously been removed from the selling site that rymes with Bamazon, I had to file a claim of reimbursement.
I am really saddened by this outcome, after days of correspondence with KSD.
I've read on here of the many members that had successfully done buissness with the Turkish grip maker and were completely satisfied. I don't understand why they went dark or why they gave out fake tracking numbers.
Luckily the selling site I used has an A-Z money back guarantee so I will be getting reimbursed.
Another interesting thing I noticed is that KSD not only shut down their Amazon account, but have deleted 2/3 of the grips available on eBay.. Weird.
Anyway, I am putting this up to warn anyone who was thinking of dropping $100 or so on these grips at this time. For some unknown reason KSD is having shipping problems. Buyer beware.
If anyone want to see the actual emails between KSD and myself I saved them. Mustafa is very courteous and KSD seems to have done great business with forum members. I am hoping that this is a huge fedex shipping clusterf#$@, or something else out if KSDs hands. Time will tell.
Mike
**EDITED**UPDATE***
KSD has posted a response. It is about 2/3 of the way down.
Also tracking number KSD gave as replacement is working and I should receive package soon.
Thank you Mike

I will also report I was bidding on set of grips on eBay with the auction set to end in a few more days...and today it just said "auction ended". Too bad. I just bought a set from them a few weeks ago and they showed up and were perfect.

I am soooo disappointed! I have been waiting for over 2 years to get these grips. I have smaller hands and the Hogue wooden grips are just to bulky for me. I carry my 3913LS every day and want badly to get some woodies on it. I know there are a few members on here who have KSD grips for the 3913, I wonder if I offered them a VERY Good price they would sell me a pair?

Interesting, I have bought two of their grips and have passed along their info to a lot of members on another site. The ones I bought were in February and no problems at all! I'll have to try their wonky European web site to see if its still up.

TheIr wonky euro-site is under construction now. Their Amazon store front is completely gone, and their Fleabay inventory has been deleted by at least 2/3, only the low volume/selling grips are available now. And who knows if that's even correct!?!? When I bought mine on Amazon it said there were 12 in stock of my style.
I'm a bit Jaded, when you get lied to for 2 weeks and left hanging $124 less in your account I tend not to believe anything the company posts.

I went on Amazon just now to order a set for my 3913TSW. I noticed the same thing. I also noticed the shrinkage of the selection on Ebay.

Just my luck to miss out on this, plus I sent a set of pre rail 3913TSW grips to them two weeks ago to see if they could make those. Fortunately, that was a set with a defect, so if I never get them back I am just out the cost of postage.

I'm holding out some hope that this will be resolved favorably, but not a lot.

March 15th I ordered a set of grips for my HK P7. Took about 3 weeks or so to get here. Fit and appearance was outstanding. More than happy. If things have changed, I'm sorry as I intended to purchase more. I see they're back on Amazon....Good luck.

I just checked but didnt see them back on Amazon ?

Lots of sellers are quitting Amazon. They are finding they can sell far fewer of their wares and make more money because of the high fees. Good way to get your name out there then dump them.

The maker of the KSD grips is a member here, maybe he will be along shortly to answer any questions. The grips I have ordered from KSD have been fine, just takes a good while to get here from Turkey. Foreign postal tracking numbers always have shown up as "invalid" on my computer whenever I order from ebay or amazon until the item enters actually the US which unfortunately can take several weeks.

True but unfortunately I paid a lot extra for expedited shipping (5-7 days) and that was weeks ago.

I've purchased from KSD twice, albeit that was several months ago. Upon the first purchase, the owner called me (from Turkey). I found the quality of his grips to be outstanding, slightly reminding me of Nill grips. I had fast delivery and quality items on both occasions, one being wrap around wood wrap around grips for a 5906 that fit like a surgeon's glove, and have proven to be durable when I originally thought that if they fit that tight they might crack at the back seam. Almost a year later, they look as new as the day I put them on.

Any problems email Mustafa at: [email protected]

I did notice the website is down at www.ksdgripsusa.com but found another website for KSD at: https://www.etsy.com/shop/KSDGRIPS

and still a listing on major US auction site that is guaranteed your money back through PayPal if you don't receive them.

Yes, I've been in contact with Mustafa's email. I had purchased from Amazon with expedited shipping $16, but the FedEx shipping number is invalid and the shipping due date went by 10 days ago. I contacted Mustafa and asked for a reship of my grips. He said he reshipped them with the quickest FedEx, but the new tracking number he sent is also INVALID. After that along with the KSD Amazon site suddenly gone, and most of the eBay stock gone, I thought it time to start the refund process.
After seeing all the great reviews from this grip maker I am wondering if someone happened in Turkey to make this happen rather than something backhanded by the company itself. He seems to be a genuine guy.

I got a dollar bet that says they're having a problem with trademark infringement. I notice that none of the 35 grips listed on the auction site have company specific escutcheons or carvings,......all the remaining grips are sanitized. Figured that would happen sooner or later.

I suspect they'll eventually repopulate their offerings with generic patterns. Hope they keep it simple,........their grips are fantastic but I can see where they've been tending towards the gaudy design and upselling. I'd rather they make simpler and cleaner grips and keep the prices reasonable.

As pretty and desirable as they were/are, I'd damn glad I never went down that rabbit hole. :) But for those of you who did, you may have a very neat collector's item someday if the problem with KSD is really the S&W logo. :D

I want to say it was either late summer or early fall last year when I predicted the whole logo copyright potential for trouble.

S&W has an extremely well documented history of vigorously protecting that logo and they go directly from discovery to "cease & desist" before shifting in to 2nd gear.

The KSD grips are gorgeous, but you simply can't reproduce that name & logo and sell the product just cause you want to.
