I recently sent my Marlin 39A lever action .22 back to the factory for repair. It was having failures to feed, such that the cartridge would get hung up when trying to enter the chamber. Seems like all companies these days are operating on minimal support staff, so it took 2 months for a reply. But in the end they sent it back after making some adjustments and firing 36 test rounds (test target supplied). The amazing thing was that this was done no charge "as a gesture of good will". The gun is 30 years old!
