Hi all,

Sorry to have to report this. I enjoyed some good conversations with him over the years. Cancer got him today after a long fight. Have a good thought for his people, would you? I'm going to link this thread over on his FB page so his family can see it.

Rest in peace, Kurt, and may God be with those who miss you.

Sad news.

PM'ed Kurt with questions and knew him from the forum only.
But that's still losing a friend for sure.

RIP Kurt.

GF

Sorry to hear, prayers for his family during this difficult time.

My deep sympathy and sincere hope that grief gives way to fond memories and thoughts of a man who deeply touched the lives of family and friends.

Another good man gone. I always enjoyed reading his posts and comment especially when he was discussing his beloved 32's. He will be missed by all of us that got to know him on this and the other forums he was on.
God bless him and his family.

Very sorry to hear this. I remember his requests for prayers for his granddaughter a while back too.

Prayers go out to his entire family. I always enjoyed Kurt's (Hammerdown) contributions to this forum and know he was a knowledgeable member of many forums.

He will be missed. Always knowledgeable about S&W's. He was very generous and loaned me (and many others) his hones for the 9mm chambers on the Model 940's. Prayers for him and condolences to all his family.

I relished his postings on this and other forums. He had amazing photography skills and was always happy to share his passion of all things "32" with us. He helped me a lot when I got started collecting and I will miss him.
