I don't really go for this kinda stuff but,I saw a Lady Smith on the season finally of "Sons of Anarchy".
I almost jumped out of my chair. It was so close in HD you could read the script on the slide.
Did I see that correctly?
Rich
P.S. If you guys don't want this kinda stuff on here I can understand.I just got so excited about a 3rd gen sighting.:D

watched the finale but missed this. I'm gun geeked too and pay attention to what's used on-screen. I noticed the Lady ATF agent was carrying what looked like a Kahr MK or PM w/ dark slide. Was the LS the gun she pointed at Gemma after tossing Gemma the 'dirty' Kahr?

I love to look for and hear about this stuff.

Sadly, I only see Berettas most of the time. You do not get a close up very often, and a Beretta is so easy to ID because of the unique open-top slide and barrel protruding at the muzzle.

Makes me think of Tony Soprano every time I see one.

I don't know the names of the characters .It was the first time I watched it.It was in the house towards the end and I think it was the girls that got rapped and went in the house to get the other girl that tricked her with the doll.So you might be right. She dropped it.And FBI girl threw her Kahr back to her?
Too many charaters and too many guns in this show.:D
I'm glad I'm not the only one.

Looked to me like a Glock 36 compact. I did notice the Lady Smith though.

Trish George, the female member of the undercover "Decoy Squad", carried a 3913 Lady Smith in Season 3 of The Shield.

In addition, Calleigh Duquesne carried a 3913LS for a time in CSI: Miami, before switching to a Kimber Pro Carry II.

And Will Smith's character carried one in the beginning of Men in Black.

...

Ahhh, the good old Hollywood grip.

I had noticed the CSI:Miami blonde carried a 3913LS recently on an older re-run. I also recently watched a re-run of Nash Bridges (damn that show was weak compared to Miami Vice!) and the detective named Evan carries an early production 5906 w-squared trigger guard.

I wonder why they would use a LS as a prop gun or (if it's real but not loaded) ,in todays shows when they could have any gun they wanted and probably get them for free as advertising. I mean we all know how great these guns are ,but sadley, obsolete.Do you think the producers realize how cool they are ?And what a following they have? Or do you think a property manager just gave them to the actors and said"here's a gun"?And I wonder what S&W brass thinks about this? or do you think they had something to do with it? I could understand it with Miami Vice Circa 1980"s But now? With all the vantastic plastics?

It Just makes me wonder.

Rich...and the Mak stands for Makarov...LOL

In the "Gangland" series a lot of the "gangsta's" were toting Hi Point's. May be the weight of the slide is why they shoot sideways!:D

'Round here we call 'em River Guns ( hipoints etc ) they sink faster and " bust harder ", as in which one of these nines " bust harder "
