Spent the morning power washing all the sidewalks around the house. There are walks on three sides of the house that run full length. I am done and will not be able to any more work at all for several days. Some times I have trouble facing the fact that I just can't do what I could even 5 years ago. I feel I need to be doing stuff as I grew up working on my Uncle's 75000 acre ranch. O
well such is life

I understand how you feel. I am starting to run into the same situation. At this point, I do as much as I can then let it go. I am doing everything I can to avoid injury because I have seen others push too hard injure themselves and then comes the real downward spiral. Doing something a little at a time is better in my opinion. Take care and don't overdo it.

I do tasks when my motivation, my aching body, and the planets align. Needless to say, not a lot gets done anymore.

I hit 70 and just feel pleased to have dodged many bullets, figurative and literal. Never expected that God would grant me this much time.

What I lament about old age is that it came too quickly.
I went to a family reunion over the weekend down in NC. With all the necessary stops it turned into a 9 hour drive each way going straight through. If we do it again next year I'm breaking up the trip. Luckily Batmobile #1 is pretty much built for comfort.
