Laminate Floor's, Gun Safes and Office Chairs

Those sheet-metal cabinets are not heavy, so just unbolt them and do the floor properly. Furthermore, bolting that type of cabinet to the floor is of little benefit for security purposes. Bolting them to the back wall studs would be more effective.

Consider bolting them to each other in each corner to make them a single more unwieldy object.

If it was me I would not bolt them anywhere except to themselves.

After all, the main purpose for a light storage cabinet is to keep snoopy children out and to make grab-and-go a little more difficult.

My gun safes are bolted to each other and to the studs in the walls.

I have had one of these glass chair mats in my home offices for over 15 years. Once on hardwood and now on carpet.

So much better than the plastic ones.

That would be perfect. I'm always rolling my chair from one PC to the other.
