Lark knife?

No idea. What is the handle made of? My first impression was folded metal, but I'm not so sure after a second look. Is there a backspring, or is it a friction folder?

It looks like the sort of thing that comes in a zippered case with men's grooming implements or bartending tools, sold on an end cap at a discount outlet during the holidays.

I don't know an awful lot about Lark knives, but if I remember, they were made in China. Don't quote me on that though. I think they were in production from about 1960 to about 1980 or somewhere around there. You can still find them on-line going anywhere from five bucks to twenty bucks. Of course, there's always someone out there who'll put an exorbitant price on one, hoping that someone will bite.

Not seeing your knife in person, I'm just venturing a guess here, but I'd be surprised if the scales were genuine mother-of-pearl.

Still, a cool looking little knife.:)
