Laser on 22

Has anyone put a laser on an M&P 22 compact?

Why a laser and not a dot optic ? That might make a difference why you feel a laser is a good idea . Other wise No I would rather have a 22lr with the ability to mount a dot optic rather than a laser .

I once had a Beretta 21A with a laser, came that way... it felt silly, and I am from the misguided camp that thinks guns don't have batteries...

If it indeed a laser you are anticipating(?) PSA has the Crimson Trace CTS-207 which is both a laser & a light(!) for $79.99... Takes a single CR123A battery, BTW.
