This pre-29 wasn't shipped until November of 1961 and might be the last 5-screw 44 to leave Springfield. It came with a factory letter. There also are copies of emails with Roy Jinks indicating that it was with an advertising account in June of 1960, although Roy could not determine if that was when it was sent or received back. He also was unable to identify the advertising account.
A nice black box with cleaning rod, brush, bore mop and screwdriver also came with the gun.
