Thursday was the last chemo treatment. Now the wait begins until I have a PET scan to see how effective the combined radiation and chemo treatment did. Looking forward to being able to eat a grilled steak. a baked potato and a nice veggie salad. Of course the requisite red beer with V8 juice and two dashes of Franks hot sauce.
Once the hardware is taken out I plan on hitting the range plus doing a little rabbit hunting with my CZ452. Wish I had kept my S&W 22A. that was one heck of an accurate 22 pistol! Ruger MK3 Target will have to do. LOL YES it feels GOOD to be done with treatment!

Not sure if your place has you ring the bell on your last day?
We had a lady finish up Tuesday at my center, and we all do a group photo with the "graduate".

I've been a "bell-ringer" twice these last few years. My series now is every two weeks "until"....

Get to the range! Recoil therapy is good stuff!

Congratulations on finishing. I was on Sesplatin for Throat Cancer and had CT and PET Scans ever 90 days for 2 years, every 120 for the next year and then twice a year for a year and then one last time. Been cancer free (that one) for 10 years. Hope you have as good or better results.

Now 10 years later, today I finished my 19th Radiation Session for Prostate Cancer. No Chemo though.

Best, Bob

My best friend who died of renal failure this summer gave me his .50 ML caplock. My short term plans are to find a good load for it that is stout and accurate enough for deer hunting. Slightly longer terms plans are to take a nice fat whitetail doe with it next fall and enjoy grilled venison burgers, steak and chops next winter and the following spring. No shooting rifles though until I get the hardware removed from my body.

Congrats Firesticks, it's always refreshing to hear success stories when it comes to that dang cancer. Good luck on the PET scan.
