Late M27-2

This followed me home last week! M27-2 4" Nickel, P & R, Ser#940xxx. As I read the Standard Catalog, this has to be right at the end of the -2 production.

I take it that is N940xxx. Book shows 82-86.
It also shows the dash 3 showing up in 82.
So I'm thinking early 82, could be wrong.

That's the way I read it, just wanted to be sure, Post said up to 80, but also said P & R, so I stuck in older bracket?
