Late Spring Floods

It's been a very wet spring and now we are rocking heavy rains and storms for the next three days. It's getting messy up here.

Do you say similar things to victims of tornados or hurricanes?

My heart is hurting for my hometown and many others in NW Iowa. Natural gas is shut off to the entire town, sewer treatment plant shut down, land line phone service out, cell phone service is spotty, electric power is in and out, 2 US highways in and out of town are closed. People have been evacuated by boat, cars submerged to the roof, local radio station and weather service has been off the air at various times due to flooding in their transmitter building. Grocery stores flooded and closed. Same with gas stations.
No, this doesn't make the national news because it is rural Iowa, or as Muss calls it "Fly Over Country"
